Kase Revolution Plus CPL 112mm
Kase Revolution Plus CPL 112mm | Control reflections in your frame
Reflections on water and glass can be reduced, while a blue sky can look deeper, with the Kase Revolution Plus CPL 112mm. It’s a circular polarizing filter for photographers who want more control over those effects as they compose, rather than relying on editing afterwards. Turn the filter while looking through the viewfinder or at the screen to adjust the polarization and see the change in real time. That makes it useful for landscape work, where glare can hide detail in water or foliage, and for photographing windows or shopfronts when you want more of what’s behind the glass to show. For skies, the effect is strongest when you’re shooting roughly at a right angle to the sun. The 112mm size is a key practical detail: this filter is for a lens that takes 112mm filters, so it’s worth matching that measurement before planning a setup around it.
Specialist Note
New CPL users often leave the filter at its strongest setting, even when that makes the picture look unnatural. With this Kase, turn the polarizer as you frame the shot and stop where the reflections are controlled but the scene still looks believable. The 112mm size is substantial, so think of it as a filter for a lens with a matching 112mm fitting, not a size you can casually share with smaller lenses. Its CPL designation means you can adjust the effect as you compose: try it on a pond to reveal more beneath the surface, or on glass to tame reflected light. It can’t remove every reflection, and the result depends on your angle to the light.
