Kelvin EPOS-600
Kelvin EPOS-600 | UV filtration for your lens
Filtering ultraviolet light is the purpose of the Kelvin EPOS-600, a UV filter for photographers who want this specific type of filter in their camera kit. It’s listed as a UV filter in the Filters category, so its role is clear: filter UV light as part of your photographic setup. That makes it relevant when you’re choosing a filter by type rather than by a stated diameter, coating or other technical feature. The product name identifies this model, but the name alone doesn’t tell you its size or which lenses it fits. If you’re selecting a filter for a particular lens, those details matter: a filter must match the lens’s filter thread to fit. The EPOS-600 is best considered on the information available here as a UV filter, not as a filter with additional confirmed features. If UV filtration is what you need, this gives you a named option to consider; make sure the physical fit is right before buying.
Specialist Note
Choosing a filter without knowing whether it fits your lens can turn a simple purchase into a frustrating one. The Kelvin EPOS-600 is identified as a UV filter, so I’d first match its actual filter diameter to the marking on your lens; the model name by itself doesn’t give me that measurement. Its UV designation tells you the filter’s intended role, but I wouldn’t assume extra features such as a particular coating or protective construction from that alone. It suits someone who specifically wants a UV filter and can verify the size for their lens. For everyday use, the key advice is simple: check the lens’s filter-thread marking and buy only if the diameter matches.
