Kondor Blue KB DRC Double Rosettes Clamp Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB DRC Double Rosettes Clamp Space Grey | A focused rig connection
Kondor Blue KB DRC Double Rosettes Clamp Space Grey is a clamp built around a double-rosette arrangement. It suits filmmakers and camera operators who are assembling a rig with rosette connections and want a dedicated accessory for that part of the setup. Its job is specific: bring two rosette positions together in a clamp, rather than add a general-purpose camera support. That makes it most relevant when the rig you’re building already calls for a double-rosette clamp. The Space Grey finish gives the accessory a distinct look without changing what it’s for. Before adding it to a setup, consider the rosette points you need to join and how the clamp will sit alongside the other parts of your rig. This is a focused piece of tripod and rigging equipment, so its value comes from matching that particular connection need.
Think of this as a connection piece for a rig plan, not a standalone support. The product name gives you the key detail: there are two rosettes in the arrangement. That can be useful when your setup needs a clamp at a point where both rosette positions matter. It’s worth choosing it for that specific layout, rather than expecting it to cover unrelated mounting needs.
Specialist Note
For people shooting interviews or short-form video with a rig built around rosette points, this is a very specific accessory to consider. The double-rosette arrangement means you’re working with two rosette positions; plan the clamp around the two points you need to bring together, rather than treating it as a general clamp. I’d look at where that connection belongs in your setup before choosing it, especially if the rig has several parts competing for space. The Space Grey finish is a subtle visual detail, not a change in function. Its limitation is clear too: it’s only relevant when a double-rosette clamp is what your rig calls for.
