Kondor Blue KB-FDC-LNPF-P Gerald Undone 4" Female Locking DC Barrel 2.1 | A short, secure DC connection

A loose or awkward power connection can make a compact rig harder to arrange. The Kondor Blue KB-FDC-LNPF-P is a short female locking DC barrel connection, measuring 4 inches, for setups that need a matching 2.1 barrel plug close to the power point. Its locking connection is intended to help keep the plug seated, while the short length keeps the connection close rather than adding a long run of cable to a crowded setup. It suits camera-rig builders and video creators who are organising nearby DC-powered equipment and want a neater connection between compatible parts. The most useful thing about this model is its specific combination of a 4-inch reach and a female locking 2.1 DC barrel connection. It’s for a close connection, not for routing power across a rig or around a stand; use it where the components can sit near one another.

Specialist Note

On a compact rig with the power point close by, I’d keep this 4-inch connection tucked along the frame rather than leave a longer cable to bunch up. The female locking 2.1 barrel end is the detail to pay attention to: use it with equipment that calls for a matching 2.1 DC barrel plug, and engage the lock so the connection is less likely to pull free during repositioning. That makes it a sensible fit for a nearby DC-powered accessory in a tidy camera setup. The limitation is just as clear: four inches gives you very little routing distance, so it won’t solve a gap between components.
