Kondor Blue KB-MAGICARM-EXT-BK Cine Magic Arm 4" Extension Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-MAGICARM-EXT-BK Cine Magic Arm 4" Extension Raven Black | Adds four inches of positioning reach
Adding reach to a magic-arm setup can help place a rig component where it’s easier to work with or clear of nearby gear. The Kondor Blue KB-MAGICARM-EXT-BK Cine Magic Arm 4" Extension Raven Black is a four-inch extension for cine magic-arm use. It suits camera operators, assistants and rig builders who find that their current arm position is just short of where they need it. That defined extra length can help create clearance or bring an arm-mounted element closer to a practical working position. The Raven Black colour keeps the part visually low-key on a dark rig. Think of it as a targeted adjustment to reach, rather than a complete arm or a fix for every positioning problem. If your setup needs a little more room, those four inches give you a clear amount to plan around.
When an extension makes sense
This extension is useful when a position is nearly right, but the arm needs more reach to clear another part of the rig or bring a component into a more practical spot. It lets you address that one placement issue without rethinking the whole arrangement. The added reach is a fixed four inches, so it’s worth considering whether that’s the adjustment your setup needs. More length won’t solve a problem that calls for a different angle or position.
Specialist Note
This extension is at its best when a magic arm is just short of the position you need. I’d suggest it to a camera operator or rig builder trying to create clearance around the camera, or move an arm-mounted component to a more workable spot. The four-inch extension makes that change specific: you can judge whether that extra reach suits the layout before you build around it. Raven Black also keeps the added piece visually quiet on a dark rig. One thing to bear in mind: if the issue is the arm’s angle rather than its reach, adding length may not get you where you want to be.
