Kondor Blue KB-MINIXLR3F Mini XLR On XLR For BMPCC 6K Pro/C70 Camera 3'
Kondor Blue KB-MINIXLR3F Mini XLR On XLR For BMPCC 6K Pro/C70 Camera 3' | Direct audio connection in a compact rig
For a direct audio connection between XLR equipment and a camera’s mini XLR input, the Kondor Blue KB-MINIXLR3F Mini XLR On XLR For BMPCC 6K Pro/C70 Camera 3' keeps the link straightforward. It’s made for use with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and Canon C70, and its 3-foot length suits a nearby audio source rather than a long cable run. That can help keep a compact camera setup tidy when the audio equipment is positioned close to the camera. The mini XLR-to-XLR connection is the key detail here: this is a cable for bridging those two connector types, not a general-purpose camera cable. If you’re building a rig around either named camera and need that specific connection, it gives you a short, direct route for your audio signal.
Planning the cable run
Think about where your XLR equipment will sit before you arrange the camera. A short cable run works best when the source is close by; place it within reach and route the cable without pulling it taut. That keeps the setup practical for a fixed position or a compact rig, while making clear that this length isn’t intended to span a room or a widely spaced recording setup.
Specialist Note
This cable gives the BMPCC 6K Pro or C70 a direct XLR-to-mini-XLR connection, avoiding the need to build that link around a separate adapter. The 3-foot length is useful when your audio source is close to the camera: for a desk recording, keep the source beside the rig and route the cable neatly between them. It also suits a sit-down interview setup where the camera and audio gear stay in one position. The Mini XLR 3F-to-XLR configuration is the reason to choose this particular cable, so I’d match it to a rig that needs those connector types. Its short reach is the trade-off; it’s best for nearby equipment, not a distant source.
