Kondor Blue KB-S8T-AR Sony 8T On ARRI Rosette Adapter Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-S8T-AR Sony 8T On ARRI Rosette Adapter Space Grey | Connect your Sony 8T rig to an ARRI rosette
Without an adapter, connecting a rig component with a different interface can mean changing parts of your setup. The Kondor Blue KB-S8T-AR is a tripod accessory designed to bridge a Sony 8T setup and an ARRI rosette connection. It suits camera operators and rig builders who need those two interfaces to work together, rather than a general-purpose mounting solution. Its value is in making that specific connection possible, so you can plan a rig around the equipment you already use. The product name is refreshingly clear about its intended pairing, which helps when comparing parts for a build. Space Grey gives it a restrained finish that can sit neatly alongside a similarly toned setup. If your rig calls for a Sony 8T-to-ARRI-rosette link, this adapter is made for that job; it isn’t a substitute for an adapter designed around a different pairing.
Specialist Note
On a Sony 8T rig build, I’d start by mapping where the ARRI rosette connection needs to sit, then use this adapter to bridge that exact interface. The Sony 8T designation matters because it identifies the side this part is intended to connect with; the ARRI rosette end gives you the matching rosette interface for your rig plan. That makes it a focused part for operators building around those systems, rather than something to buy for a vague mounting need. The Space Grey finish is a tidy visual match for a subdued rig. My honest advice: it’s useful only when this particular pairing is what your setup calls for.
