Kondor Blue KB SFX6-CTP-BK Sony FX6 Cage Medium Upper Pla...
Kondor Blue KB SFX6-CTP-BK Sony FX6 Cage Medium Upper Plate | A tripod accessory for an FX6 cage
Its focus is specific: this Kondor Blue accessory is a medium upper plate for a Sony FX6 cage, rather than a complete cage or a general-purpose tripod part. That makes it relevant to FX6 owners building a cage-based setup for tripod work, especially if they’re choosing parts individually. The product is identified as a tripod accessory, so its place in a camera rig is tied to tripod use; the upper-plate designation also helps distinguish it from other cage components. If your setup centres on a Sony FX6 and you need this particular part of the cage arrangement, it’s a more targeted option than shopping for an entire cage system. Keep the scope in mind: this is a named upper plate, not a replacement for the camera or a standalone cage. It suits a carefully assembled rig where the upper-plate role is the one you need to address.
Specialist Note
The Kondor Blue KB SFX6-CTP-BK is the medium upper plate to consider for a Sony FX6 cage in a tripod-oriented rig. I’d look at it when you’re putting together an FX6 setup from specific cage parts and want to address the upper-plate position, rather than buying a complete cage. The tripod-accessory designation makes its intended role clear: it belongs in a setup built around tripod use. For a locked-off interview or a composed talking-head shot, this is the kind of purpose-specific part to consider as you plan the cage arrangement. The honest caveat is that it’s a single, clearly defined component; it won’t replace the rest of a cage. I’d match it to a build where the medium upper plate is exactly what you’re sourcing.
