Kondor Blue KB-SFX6-CTP Sony FX6 Cage Medium Upper Platte...
Kondor Blue KB-SFX6-CTP Sony FX6 Cage Medium Upper Plate | A defined role in tripod setups
For tripod-based work with a Sony FX6, the Kondor Blue KB-SFX6-CTP is identified as a medium upper plate for the FX6 cage and is listed as a tripod accessory. It’s aimed at FX6 owners building a setup around a tripod, where holding a chosen camera position matters more than switching quickly between handheld angles. The name gives you two useful identifiers when planning a rig: Sony FX6 and medium upper plate. That makes it relevant for a locked-off interview, a composed product shot, or another scene where you want to keep the frame steady while you work. Its clearest role is in a tripod-centred FX6 setup. Think of it as a specific cage-related accessory, not as a camera or a tripod in its own right.
Specialist Note
The mix-up this part helps prevent is choosing a tripod accessory without tying it to the intended FX6 cage setup. I’d use the full KB-SFX6-CTP code when matching it to a rig plan; it’s a more precise identifier than “upper plate” on its own. The Sony FX6 wording makes the camera context clear, while “medium upper plate” gives you the role and size wording to match against your cage setup. For a fixed interview or product frame, build around a tripod and settle your composition before recording. It’s a focused accessory, so I wouldn’t treat it as a complete tripod or a replacement for the rest of your camera rig.
