Kondor Blue KB-TAR-77 Still Lens Thread-On Adapter Rings 95-77 Adapter
Kondor Blue KB-TAR-77 Still Lens Thread-On Adapter Rings 95-77 Adapter | Connect a 77mm lens thread to a 95mm interface
The defining choice is a stepped, thread-on connection: it bridges a 77mm still-lens thread and a 95mm interface, so you can join those sizes without changing the lens itself. The Kondor Blue KB-TAR-77 is for photographers and camera crews who need that specific connection in a still-lens setup. Its job is straightforward: provide a threaded link between the lens and a compatible accessory with the larger interface. That makes it useful when your lens and accessory don’t share a thread size, but you want to keep the setup based around the lens’s own thread. The key is matching both ends: this ring is for a 77mm lens-side thread and a 95mm accessory-side connection. It’s a focused adapter, not a general-purpose solution for other sizes. If those are the two interfaces in your setup, it gives you a direct way to connect them.
Specialist Note
Setup stays simple: screw the ring onto the lens, then attach a compatible accessory at the other end. I’d suggest this to someone building a still-lens rig who has a 77mm thread on the lens but needs a 95mm connection for an accessory. The thread-on design gives you a direct mechanical link, while the stepped sizing solves one particular mismatch rather than asking you to change lenses or build around a different thread. It’s especially suited to a repeatable rig setup where the same lens and accessory are used together. Just bear in mind that both ends need to match; this ring won’t bridge other sizes.
