Kondor Blue KB-ULSK15 Universal Lens Support Kit For LWS 15mm Rods Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-ULSK15 Universal Lens Support Kit For LWS 15mm Rods Space Grey | Lens support for LWS 15mm rigs
What sets the Kondor Blue KB-ULSK15 apart is its clear purpose: it’s a lens support kit made for LWS 15mm rods. It suits camera operators building a rod-based rig who want lens support as part of that setup. The LWS 15mm format gives you a specific point of reference when planning the rig, so this kit makes sense when those rods are already part of your build. Its Space Grey finish is a visual match for a rig with a similar finish. Use it for a video camera build where the lens needs support within the rod setup, rather than expecting cable-management features from a product sold in the cable category. This is a focused accessory for a particular rig arrangement; its value is in addressing lens support within that arrangement, not in adding unrelated functions.
Specialist Note
The Kondor Blue KB-ULSK15 is a lens support kit for building around LWS 15mm rods. That 15mm detail is the key point to keep in mind: it gives you a clear fit reference when putting together or updating a rig using that rod format. I’d consider it for a video build where you want the lens supported within the rod setup. The Space Grey finish can also help keep the accessories visually consistent with a grey rig. Its scope is specific, though: it’s intended for LWS 15mm rods, so it isn’t a general solution for every rod arrangement.
