Kowa Adapter Ring TSN-AR500A

Kowa Adapter Ring TSN-AR500A

The Kowa TSN-AR500A adapter ring is your ticket to transforming basic mobile photography into high-end spotting scope photography, known as digiscoping. This adapter ring primarily links your smartphone, fitted with a Kowa smartphone adapter, to the Kowa TSN-501 or TSN-502 spotting scopes.

However, keep in mind: if your TSN-501 or TSN-502 spotting scope carries a serial number starting from 568106, then this particular TSN-AR500A version is required. For spotting scope models with serial numbers 568105 or below, you need the TSN-AR500. This is due to a change in eyepiece diameter to 37.5 mm from this serial number onwards.

Thrill of Digiscoping

Digiscoping involves developing fantastic photo and video content by leveraging the power of your smartphone in combination with binoculars or a spotting scope. This unique methodology allows you to witness stunningly magnified and finely detailed visuals that wouldn't typically be within your reach.

Once you equip your smartphone with a Kowa smartphone adapter and sync it using the Kowa TSN-AR500A, you'll be ready to commence your digiscoping journey via the Kowa TSN-501 and TSN-502 models.

Ease-of-use

• Connecting the adapter to the smartphone adapter is straightforward, and the ring fits snugly over one eyepiece of the spotting scope.
• Thanks to the near-perfect alignment, no further adjustments are required, laying the foundation for optimal results.
• To achieve exquisite, stable visual captures, it's advisable to mount the spotting scope on a tripod.
• Several individuals can peer through the scope simultaneously if mounted on a tripod, fostering shared experiences.
• When detaching the smartphone adapter, the ring from the adapter just needs to be removed. The smartphone adapter also serves as a protective case, shielding your device from accidental drops and impacts.
