The Laowa 10mm Cookie lens boasts an impressive viewing angle of 109.3 degrees. Its wide-ranging spectrum makes it the broadest linear pancake lens in the APS-C category. The lens' compact design owes itself to the inclusion of two aspherical lens elements amongst the overall 12 lens elements spread across eight groups. Alongside the dual aspherical elements, four additional extra-low lens elements are incorporated, offering effective resistance to distortion, chromatic aberrations, flaring, and ghosting effects. The ultra-wide viewing ratio contributes to maintaining minimal optical distortions in both horizontal and vertical lines.

Moreover, the lens offers a minimum focusing distance just under 10 centimetres, perfect for macro shots. Focusing is manual, with a five-blade aperture capable of creating striking 10-point sunstars.
