Laowa Lens Cap For 15mm f/2.0 Leica M (Lao-LC1520M)
Laowa Lens Cap For 15mm f/2.0 Leica M (Lao-LC1520M) | Keeps the front element covered
An uncovered lens front can pick up dust or get touched while you’re packing and moving between shots. This Laowa lens cap covers the front of the Laowa 15mm f/2.0 Leica M lens when it’s not in use, helping you avoid that everyday worry. It’s made for owners of this specific lens who want a straightforward way to cover it between sessions, during a change of location or while the lens is stored. A cap is a small accessory, but it has a clear job: put it on before the lens goes back in your bag, and take it off when you’re ready to photograph. This one is best suited to keeping the intended Laowa lens covered during those pauses. It doesn’t change how the lens performs; it simply gives you a dedicated cover for the front when you’re not shooting.
Specialist Note
For a 15mm Leica M lens going back into the bag between interior frames, I’d make replacing this cap part of the routine. The 15mm focal length is suited to taking in a room or a broad architectural view; keep the cap on while you move, then remove it to compose. The f/2.0 aperture is useful when the light indoors drops: open the lens to f/2.0 for the exposure, then cover it again when you’re finished. This is for someone who owns that exact Laowa lens and wants its front covered between uses. The simple limit is that the cap protects only while it’s fitted, so it needs to come off before you shoot.
