Leofoto DC-29 QR Clamp w/ Cold Shoe Mount | Combine clamping and accessory mounting

Without a dedicated clamp, a tripod setup can leave the quick-release connection and an accessory mounting point as separate jobs. The Leofoto DC-29 QR Clamp w/ Cold Shoe Mount brings both together in one tripod accessory: a QR clamp and a cold shoe mount. It suits photographers who already work with a quick-release setup and want a cold-shoe mounting point nearby, rather than adding another separate piece. Its role is specific: use the clamp as part of your support arrangement, then place an accessory designed for a cold shoe in the shoe mount. That makes it a practical add-on when you want your tripod setup to do both jobs in one place. It’s a tripod accessory, not a tripod or a camera, so choose it for the clamp-and-shoe arrangement it provides.

Specialist Note

At a tripod-based still-life setup, I’d use the DC-29 to bring the clamp and accessory position together. The QR clamp is the part to consider if quick-release handling is already part of your routine; the cold shoe gives an accessory made for that fitting its own mounting point. For a tabletop product frame, you can arrange the tripod support, then place a compatible cold-shoe accessory on the shoe. The same layout can suit a video setup where you want that accessory close to the camera support. I’d recommend it to someone who has a clear use for both functions. It’s a focused add-on, not a replacement for a tripod or a complete support setup.
