Leofoto SW-01 Swivel Head For Window Mount
Leofoto SW-01 Swivel Head For Window Mount | Fine-tune window-mounted framing
Leofoto SW-01 is a swivel head designed for a window mount, giving you a way to adjust framing from a window-mounted camera position. It suits photographers who want to compose carefully and need a head with a specific role rather than a general-purpose design. For stills, use the swivel movement to refine the subject’s position in the frame before taking the shot. It can also help when you’re arranging successive views for a panorama, where consistent framing matters. The SW-01 is a tripod head, so its purpose is precise positioning; its window-mount design makes it especially relevant when you’re working from that kind of support. If you’re considering video, a swivel head may also suit a pan, depending on the head and the movement you need. Choose the SW-01 when adjusting your view from a window mount is the main job.
Specialist Note
The swivel movement lets you change your framing without having to reposition the whole support. That’s handy when a view from a window is nearly right but the subject needs to sit a little differently in the frame. I’d consider it for stills where you want to make careful adjustments, or for setting up a panorama: frame one view, swivel to the next, and keep your compositions deliberate. Its window-mount purpose is quite specific, which is useful if that’s how you work, but I wouldn’t choose it as an all-purpose head for a different setup. Think of the SW-01 as a focused framing tool.
