Marumi DHG UV Filter 95 mm
Marumi DHG UV Filter 95 mm | Straightforward UV filtering for your lens
For outdoor scenes where you want a UV filter in front of your lens, the Marumi DHG UV Filter gives you a simple, clearly defined option. It’s a 95 mm UV filter for photographers choosing a filter by the size marked on their lens. Match that size when selecting a filter, then use it for landscapes, architecture or everyday outdoor photography. The black colour keeps its appearance understated at the front of the lens, rather than adding a bright accent to your setup. This is a focused accessory: its stated role is UV filtering, so it makes sense when that is the function you want from a filter. If you’re comparing options, the useful details here are the Marumi DHG name, its UV-filter type and its size. There’s no need to expect it to serve as a creative colour or exposure effect.
Filter fit is the practical first step: look for the filter-size marking on the lens and choose a matching diameter. Once fitted, the filter sits in front of the lens while you compose and shoot as usual. That makes it straightforward to keep in your kit for outdoor work, whether you’re framing a wide landscape or a building façade. Its purpose is specific, so choose it for UV filtering rather than for an effect that changes your exposure or adds a colour treatment.
Specialist Note
The black finish gives this filter a discreet look at the front of your lens, which suits a setup where you’d rather the accessory not draw the eye. As a UV filter, it’s aimed at photographers who want that particular filter type in place for outdoor scenes: think open landscapes or architectural details in daylight. Match the filter size to the marking on your lens before fitting it, then compose normally. I’d keep expectations focused on its stated UV-filter role; it isn’t a substitute for a filter chosen to alter colour or exposure. If that’s the function you need, this Marumi is a straightforward option to consider.
