Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter 37 mm
Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter 37 mm | A simple barrier for your lens’s front element
A quick lens change, a dusty path or an accidental touch can put the front glass in the line of everyday handling. The Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter is a 37 mm protection filter: fit it to a lens with a matching 37 mm filter size, and it provides an extra surface in front of the lens. That makes it a straightforward option for photographers who want to keep their lens’s front element from being the first thing they touch or wipe. It’s especially suited to a lens that stays in regular use, where small moments of handling are hard to avoid. The useful point here is its clear, specific role: this is a protection filter, not a filter for changing exposure or adding a visual effect. It gives you a simple way to put a barrier between the front element and routine contact. Match the 37 mm size to the marking on your lens.
Specialist Note
That nervous moment when your fingers or cleaning cloth go straight to the lens glass is exactly the sort of everyday worry this filter helps take out of the picture. The 37 mm size makes it a match only for a lens marked with that filter diameter, so check the lens itself rather than guessing from the camera body. As a protection filter, its job is to put a separate surface in front of the front element; for a lens you carry and handle often, that’s a practical bit of separation. I’d leave it on for everyday outings and wipe the filter when it needs attention. It’s a simple protective layer, not a promise that the lens can’t be damaged.
