Matin Lens Cap w/ Elastiek 37mm M-6276 | Keep a 37mm lens covered

Keep the front of your lens covered between pictures, so you can carry your camera without leaving the lens exposed. The Matin Lens Cap w/ Elastiek 37mm M-6276 is a lens cap for a 37mm lens, with an elastic included. It’s suited to photographers who want a straightforward way to cover a lens between shooting sessions, whether the camera is put away or resting while you take a break. The elastic gives you a way to keep the cap close at hand when it’s off the lens, instead of treating it as a separate loose accessory. Its key detail is the 37mm size: match that to the lens opening, and it’s made for that specific fit. If your lens has a different size, this isn’t the right cap for it. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is: cover the lens when you’re not using it, then remove the cap before taking a picture.

Specialist Note

The elastic is the practical detail here: it gives the removed cap a link back to your camera setup, which can help keep it close while you’re taking pictures. I’d suggest this for someone with a 37mm lens who often takes the cap off and wants a simple way to keep it nearby during a short walk or while setting up a shot. Take the cap off before you start shooting, then use it again when you put the camera away. The 37mm size is specific, so it’s important to match it to the lens; the elastic doesn’t make it suitable for other sizes. It’s a simple accessory, best used for the job it’s made for: covering a 37mm lens.
