Mentter NC-Pro Nano MC UV 77mm | A simple front-of-lens barrier outdoors

Dust lifts on a dry path, or a few drops land near the front of your lens: that’s when a UV filter can earn its place. This Mentter is a UV filter in a 77mm size, for photographers whose lens takes that filter diameter. Its main practical role is to sit in front of the lens as a removable barrier, so everyday dust and fingerprints are less likely to reach the lens itself. A UV filter is also intended to screen ultraviolet light, though that effect is usually subtle in digital photography. It’s a straightforward option if you want a protective layer in place while shooting outdoors, without changing your routine much. Keep in mind that a filter isn’t a substitute for a lens cap, and it won’t make a lens safe from impact. The key is choosing the right diameter and keeping the filter clean.

Specialist Note
