Metabones Canon EF - Micro 4/3 SUPER16 T Speed BSTR (0.58X)

Metabones Canon EF - Micro 4/3 SUPER16 T Speed BSTR (0.58X) | A specific EF-to-Micro 4/3 converter

When your lens and camera use different systems, choosing a converter can be a frustratingly specific search. This Metabones model is identified for the Canon EF to Micro 4/3 pairing, with SUPER16 T Speed BSTR and 0.58X in its name. It suits photographers looking to use a Canon EF lens with a Micro 4/3 camera system and who need this particular converter designation, rather than a converter described only by a broad category. The key detail to match is the complete model name: the 0.58X version is distinctively identified, and SUPER16 is part of its designation. That makes the title useful when narrowing down the right item. It’s a focused option for people who already know the lens and camera systems they’re working with; the honest caveat is that the model name alone doesn’t tell the whole story of how it will behave with a particular lens and camera combination.

A precise model name

There’s a fair amount packed into this product’s title. Canon EF and Micro 4/3 identify the two systems named for this converter, while SUPER16, T Speed BSTR and 0.58X specify the model variant. If you’re comparing Metabones listings, those details are more useful than searching for a converter by brand alone. In particular, keep the 0.58X designation with the full name when you’re looking for this exact version. I’d use the complete title as the reference point, rather than assuming that another listing with similar wording describes the same model. The product is listed in the Converter category, which is a straightforward description of what kind of accessory it is.
