Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 0.5m Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 0.5m Round LSZH Grey Label | A compact link for nearby network ports

Instead of routing a longer lead and managing the slack, use this short Nedis network cable to connect two nearby network ports. It has an RJ45 male connector at each end and a length of 0.5 m, so it suits a close connection where a longer cable would be awkward to route neatly. The CAT 8.1 cable has a round profile, an LSZH designation and a grey finish. It’s a straightforward option for a tidy, wired link between equipment with RJ45 sockets. There’s one practical point to keep in mind: half a metre leaves little spare reach, so the connected ports need to be close together. If that’s the layout you’re working with, this cable keeps the connection short without adding a coil of unused cable.

For a close, tidy connection

This cable is best suited to a setup where the two connection points are already near each other, such as equipment arranged together on a desk or shelf. Its short reach makes it less suited to a route that needs to cross a room or go around furniture. Measure the path between the RJ45 ports, including any turns, before deciding that this length will work. That’s a small step, but it matters more with a short cable than with one that has room to spare. The grey finish is a simple, neutral look among network equipment; the useful detail here is the compact length, not a promise of a particular network speed.
