Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 1.00m Round LSZH Orange Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 1.00m Round LSZH Orange Label | A short link for nearby network connections

A wired connection between nearby devices can be kept short and straightforward with this 1.00m Nedis CAT6 cable. It has an RJ45 male connector at each end, so it’s suited to connecting equipment with matching RJ45 sockets. The cable is described as S/FTP, round and LSZH, with an orange label. That gives you the key details to compare when you’re choosing a cable for a particular route or setup. Its one-metre length is the main thing to plan around: it suits endpoints that sit close together, rather than a run across a room. If you’re replacing a cable or adding a link to an existing setup, check the distance between the sockets first. A little measuring can save you from ending up with a cable that won’t reach.

Planning the route

Think about where the cable will run, not just the straight-line distance between the two sockets. A route around the side of a desk or behind equipment may need more length than the gap looks to suggest. With 1.00m to work with, this cable is best considered for a compact connection where both ends are within easy reach. The round shape is part of its description, and the LSZH designation is another detail to compare when selecting a cable for your setup. These terms help distinguish this cable from options with different constructions or lengths; they don’t tell you how much cable you’ll need in your particular space. Measure along the route you intend to use, especially if the cable needs to pass around furniture or equipment.

Check the connection points

Both ends are RJ45 male, so look for a matching RJ45 socket at each connection point. The CAT6 designation and S/FTP description are useful identifying details when you’re comparing cables or matching one to an existing setup. The orange label can also help you pick this cable out when several cables are in use. For a short, direct run between nearby sockets, its length keeps the choice simple; for a longer route, choose a cable with enough reach for the path you’ll actually take.
