Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 2.00m Round LSZH Black Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 2.00m Round LSZH Black Label | A direct, two-metre network link

Without the right cable, connecting two network devices can turn into a hunt through a drawer of mismatched leads. This Nedis cable gives you a direct connection between equipment with RJ45 sockets, with a two-metre length for setups where the devices are close by. It suits anyone replacing a cable or putting together a straightforward wired connection and who needs male RJ45 connectors at both ends. The CAT6 designation, S/FTP construction, round shape, LSZH description and black colour are all part of its product specification. Its most practical fit is a nearby connection where two metres is enough; it’s not a long run across a room. The cable’s black finish is easy to identify among other leads, though in a dark cable bundle it may blend in. Choose it when the connector type and length suit the connection you’re making.

Choosing the right length

Before routing any cable, consider where the two devices will sit and how the lead will reach between them. A two-metre cable gives you a set distance to work with, so it’s worth allowing for the actual route rather than measuring only the gap between the devices. A path around a desk or along a wall may use more cable than a straight line. If the connection will move with equipment, leave enough slack for that movement without pulling on the ends. For a fixed setup, you can plan the route first and keep the cable alongside existing leads. These are simple checks, but they help avoid finding out during setup that the cable needs to stretch or that excess length is getting in the way.
