Nedis CAT6a-Cable S/FTP RJ45 M RJ45 M 2 M Snagless Braided/PVC SL Box
Nedis CAT6a-Cable S/FTP RJ45 M RJ45 M 2 M Snagless Braided/PVC SL Box | A two-metre cable with snagless connectors
The combination of a two-metre length, S/FTP cable and snagless design gives this Nedis CAT6a cable a clear purpose: making a short, direct wired connection without leaving a long spare run to manage. It suits anyone setting up equipment with RJ45 connections who wants a cable that’s easy to route between nearby devices. Both ends have male RJ45 connectors, and the cable is described as braided/PVC. That makes the construction details easy to identify when you’re choosing between cables with similar connectors. At two metres, it’s a practical length to consider for a connection across a desk or between nearby positions; measure the route first if the cable needs to follow a particular path. The title also identifies it as S/FTP and CAT6a, so those designations are part of the product’s specification rather than assumptions based on its appearance.
Choosing the right length
For a tidy setup, start with the distance between the two connection points, then allow for the path the cable will take. A two-metre cable may suit nearby equipment, but a route that bends around furniture or follows an edge can use more length than a straight-line measurement suggests. The RJ45 male connectors are at both ends, so this cable is intended to plug into matching RJ45 female connections. Its snagless design is a useful detail when handling the connector ends, while the braided/PVC wording tells you what construction is named for the cable. These details make it easier to compare it with another cable you may already have: check the required connector type and length, then match the CAT6a and S/FTP designations if those are what your setup calls for.
