Nedis DisplayPort-HDMI-Adapter DisplayPort M - HDMI-OUTP.

Nedis DisplayPort-to-HDMI Adapter, DisplayPort Male to HDMI Output | Connect DisplayPort to HDMI

What sets this Nedis adapter apart is its clearly specified direction: it has a male DisplayPort connector and an HDMI output. It suits someone whose source has a DisplayPort connection and whose screen or other receiving device uses HDMI. The job is simple: bridge those two connector types when they don’t match. That makes it a practical item to consider when putting together a display connection, without adding a cable with the wrong ends. The adapter is grey, so it has a neutral finish among other desk or AV equipment. Its value is in the specific connection it provides, rather than in a collection of extra features. If you already know you need DisplayPort on the source side and HDMI on the output side, this product’s name gives you the key detail to compare with your setup.

Pay attention to the direction when choosing an adapter: this one is described as DisplayPort male to HDMI output. In other words, it’s intended for a connection that starts at DisplayPort and goes to HDMI; the connector arrangement is the useful detail here. It isn’t described as an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter, so don’t treat the two directions as interchangeable. That distinction can save a frustrating mismatch when you’re selecting a connector for a particular setup. Renz’s straightforward take: match the DisplayPort male end to the source connection, and the HDMI output to the receiving connection. The product name establishes those connector types, but doesn’t tell us details such as supported resolutions or cable length, so we haven’t guessed at them. Check the names of the connections in your setup and choose this adapter when they match its stated direction.
