Nedis Scart Male | VGA Female 15p | Vernikkeld | 480p | 2.00 M | PVC | Black | Match SCART and VGA connector types

The Nedis cable gives you a straightforward way to join a SCART connection to a VGA plug, with the connector types clearly defined at each end. It suits someone sorting out a video setup who needs a SCART male connector on one side and a 15-pin VGA female socket on the other. The stated resolution is 480p, and the cable measures 2.00 metres. That makes the length easy to consider when planning where the connected equipment will sit. Its job is specific: provide this particular connector arrangement, rather than serve as a general-purpose lead. One honest point: matching connector shapes is a useful first check, but it doesn’t by itself tell you whether two devices will send and accept the same video signal.

When choosing a cable, it helps to look at the socket on the equipment as well as the plug you need to connect. This cable has a male SCART end and a female VGA end, so the VGA side accepts a matching male plug. That distinction can prevent an easy-to-miss mismatch when you’re comparing cable listings. The black PVC covering and nickel-plated connectors are also stated details, useful when you need to distinguish this model from another lead in a drawer or a shopping list. Its 2.00-metre length gives you a concrete measurement to work with while arranging your setup; it’s better to measure the route than to guess and end up with a cable that doesn’t reach.
