Nedis Stereo-Audio Adapter 3.5mm M-6.35mm F BK

Nedis Stereo-Audio Adapter 3.5mm M-6.35mm F BK | Match two audio connector sizes

It can be frustrating when an audio connection needs a different plug size from the socket you have available. This Nedis stereo-audio adapter has a 3.5 mm male connector and a 6.35 mm female connector, so it provides a 6.35 mm socket from a 3.5 mm connection. It’s intended for a setup where those two connector ends need to meet; the genders matter as much as the sizes. The adapter is a small, specific fix for that mismatch, rather than a cable with a different length or a different connector arrangement. If you’re sorting out an audio connection, compare the plug you need to accept with the adapter’s female end, then check that the male end suits the socket in your setup. Its black colour is a straightforward match for dark audio equipment. One honest point: this adapter only addresses the connector format described here, so it’s worth being clear about which end of your connection needs to change.

The direction is easy to mix up when you’re looking at connector sizes alone. Here, 3.5 mm is the male end and 6.35 mm is the female end. That means the adapter offers a 6.35 mm opening while its 3.5 mm plug goes into a matching socket. If your cable or device has a 6.35 mm male plug and the available connection is a 3.5 mm socket, this is the connector arrangement to consider. It’s the physical pairing that defines the adapter; keep that orientation in mind when choosing where it belongs in your audio setup. The product name also identifies it as a stereo-audio adapter, making that the relevant audio connection type to match.

For a quick check, read the connector sizes and male/female ends on both sides of the connection before you attach anything. A size match alone isn’t enough if both ends have the same gender. This Nedis adapter is useful when the required arrangement is specifically 3.5 mm male to 6.35 mm female, and its black finish keeps the appearance simple.
