Nedis Ultra HS HDMI-CBL HDMI-Conn-HDMI-Conn 1.00m GY | A compact link for nearby HDMI connections

When two devices sit close together, a long cable can leave an awkward coil on the desk or shelf. The Nedis Ultra HS is a one-metre HDMI cable, with an HDMI connector at each end, for linking nearby HDMI connections. Its short reach suits a setup where the cable only needs to bridge the gap rather than run across a room. The grey finish keeps the cable visually understated alongside equipment. At Renz, we’d consider this length for a compact arrangement with a straightforward route between the connection points. Do allow for the path the cable needs to take, not just the distance between the sockets: going around a screen or along a shelf can use more length than you expect. A quick measure before placing your equipment can save you from pulling the cable taut.

Planning the cable route

A cable’s reach is only useful if it fits the way your equipment is arranged. Think about where each device will sit, then trace the route the cable will follow. A direct connection across a shelf is different from one that has to go behind furniture or around the edge of a display. Leave enough room for the devices to be moved or repositioned without tugging at the connections. This Nedis cable makes the most sense when the two ends can meet over a short, uncomplicated route. If your layout calls for a longer run, it’s better to choose a cable with more reach than to stretch this one across the space.
