Nikon 3.0 DPTR Eyepiece Correction D1 F/100

Nikon 3.0 DPTR Eyepiece Correction D1 F/100 | A named 3.0 DPTR viewfinder correction

When the view through a camera’s eyepiece needs a dioptric correction, a specifically marked correction piece is the kind of accessory to look for. This Nikon eyepiece correction is identified as 3.0 DPTR, with D1 F/100 in its title. Those markings make the product name particularly useful when you’re matching an item to a note, listing or existing accessory reference. It’s aimed at photographers who already know they’re looking for this named correction, rather than someone browsing for a general viewfinder accessory. The honest point is that the title gives a precise identifier, but doesn’t give a wider compatibility list. So the strongest reason to consider it is simple: the 3.0 DPTR and D1 F/100 wording matches what you need. Keep those details together when comparing product names.

Reading the product designation

There are two distinct pieces of wording in this product’s name: “3.0 DPTR” and “D1 F/100.” The first identifies the eyepiece correction by its stated dioptric value; the second is part of the designation used for this item. Keeping the full name intact can help avoid mixing it up with another correction value or a differently labelled viewfinder accessory. If you have a reference that calls for Nikon 3.0 DPTR Eyepiece Correction D1 F/100, this is the precise product title to compare against. I’d use the whole designation rather than relying on “Nikon eyepiece correction” alone, since that shorter description leaves out the identifying details. The title names Nikon, but doesn’t spell out a broader camera compatibility list, so this description sticks to the wording supplied for the product.
