Nikon Prostaff 5 Field Scope 60 S

Nikon Prostaff 5 Fieldscope 60-S: A Detailed Overview

As one of Nikon's entry-level models, the Nikon Prostaff 5 Fieldscope 60-S is a notable successor to the RA III series scopes. Notably, the model boasts bodies that are approximately 20% lighter compared to the preceding RA III. The updated zoom eyepiece further contributes to the telescope's uniqueness, as it significantly reduces color distortion at the edge of the field of view and offers an extended eye relief for improved viewing comfort.

Interestingly, the innovative model features three types of digiscoping-compatible eyepieces. These can be conveniently paired with the compact cameras from Nikon’s COOLPIX series using the FSB series bracket ring.
