Nitze 15mm LWS Lens Support Laowa FF 24mm T14 2X Macro Periprobe (N04E2)
Nitze 15mm LWS Lens Support Laowa FF 24mm T14 2X Macro Periprobe (N04E2) | Support for macro setups
For close-up shots of small details, this lens support gives the Laowa FF 24mm T14 2X Macro Periprobe a dedicated support point in a 15mm LWS setup. The Nitze 15mm LWS Lens Support is a tripod accessory for filmmakers building a rig around that specific macro periprobe lens. It’s useful when you want to compose detailed footage of product surfaces, textures or small objects and keep the lens supported as part of the setup. The lens’s 2X macro designation makes it suited to showing very fine detail; this accessory’s role is to support the lens, not to change how it renders an image. If you’re putting together a close-up rig for the named Laowa lens, this is a focused accessory rather than a general-purpose support. Its value is in having the lens support specified for a 15mm LWS configuration.
Specialist Note
The 15mm LWS specification gives this support a defined place in a rig, with the Laowa periprobe lens as its intended partner. That’s helpful when you’re building a setup for close-up work, rather than relying on the camera-side support alone. The lens is a 2X macro model, so it suits framing tiny surface details or small product features; use the support as part of the rig while you compose those shots. Its FF 24mm T14 designation identifies the lens this accessory is made for, so I’d keep the pairing specific. One thing to bear in mind: this is a support accessory, not an adjustment to the lens’s magnification or image character.
