Novoflex Multi-Media-Rig Bluebird | Extra support for handheld video

Its defining role is clear: the Novoflex Multi-Media-Rig Bluebird is a shoulder rig for handheld video work when your camera needs extra support. It suits video makers who want a shoulder-supported way to work rather than simply holding the camera in their hands. For an interview, it can help you keep your camera supported while framing a person; for event footage, it gives you a practical setup for filming while moving between moments. The benefit is support during handheld shooting, not a promise of perfectly steady footage or a substitute for careful camera handling. Think of it as a rig for video work where staying mobile matters and you’d like more support as you operate. Its use is specific and straightforward: help support a camera during handheld video. If that’s what your filming calls for, the Bluebird is a focused option.

Specialist Note

One clear job—extra support for handheld video—means this rig is aimed at filming with the camera supported at your shoulder, rather than making a stationary tripod setup. I’d consider it for interviews or event coverage: settle into a shoulder-supported position for a steadier frame, then keep the camera ready as the scene changes. The supplier lists the Bluebird in black, giving it a restrained look on set. It suits video makers who want support while staying mobile. One honest point: a shoulder rig won’t remove camera movement altogether, so deliberate handling still matters. Its appeal is that focused role, not a claim to do every kind of camera support.
