PDMovie D-TAP70cm + Lemo 6PIN 100cm

PDMovie D-TAP70cm + Lemo 6PIN 100cm | Two connector lengths, clearly specified

When a cable needs to reach between two connection points, it helps to know the connector types and lengths before you plan the run. This PDMovie cable is identified by a D-TAP connection with a 70cm length and a Lemo 6PIN connection with a 100cm length. That gives you two specific measurements to work with, rather than a single length that leaves the ends unclear. It suits camera crews and operators who already know they need these connector types and want the cable dimensions stated plainly. The most useful thing here is that each end has its own listed length, so you can compare those measurements with the positions of your equipment. Keep in mind that connector names alone don’t establish whether a cable is right for a particular setup; the required connection types matter too. If those match your requirements, the two lengths make this a straightforward cable to assess before planning its route.

Planning the cable run

Use the 70cm D-TAP measurement for the D-TAP side and the 100cm measurement for the Lemo 6PIN side when considering where the cable needs to go. Those are separate figures, so don’t treat either one as the length of the whole cable. Think through where each connector will sit and how much route is needed from that point. A tidy route can be easier to plan when you account for both sides individually, particularly when the connection points aren’t next to each other. The practical detail to focus on is simple: this cable is named for a D-TAP and a Lemo 6PIN connection, with a different length given for each.

If you’re comparing cables, match the connector names first, then consider the two measurements against your intended layout. The title provides those details in a compact form: D-TAP, 70cm; Lemo 6PIN, 100cm. That makes it easier to distinguish this cable from one described with only a connector type or a single length. It’s a specific cable description, not a statement of compatibility with any particular camera or accessory.
