Permajet Fine Art Matt Canvas 360GSM Roll 44INCHES 12m

Permajet Fine Art Matt Canvas 360GSM Roll 44INCHES 12m | Matte canvas for fine art prints

Permajet Fine Art Matt Canvas 360GSM Roll 44INCHES 12m is a 360gsm matte canvas in a 44-inch-wide roll. It’s for photographers, artists and printmakers looking for canvas media for fine art print work, especially when a roll format suits the size or quantity of the prints they have planned. The name gives you the key points to assess: canvas, a matt surface, the stated weight and a generous roll length. That makes it easier to judge whether this is the kind of material and format you’re after before you plan a job. A roll can suit work with varying print dimensions, but the finished results depend on the image, the print setup and the choices made during production. The honest point is that the title tells you the material and format, not how it will look with a particular image or printer.

Choosing the format

Start with the artwork and the finished print you have in mind. Consider the image’s proportions, the intended print dimensions and how many pieces you expect to produce. Those decisions help you work out whether a roll is a practical way to supply the material for your project. The matt surface is part of the product’s identity, so it’s worth considering how that finish fits the look you want for the image; the title alone can’t tell you how a particular photograph or artwork will appear on it. Likewise, the weight is useful when comparing media by stated grammage, but it shouldn’t be treated as a description of the finished print’s appearance. If you’re preparing several different works, plan their dimensions together before setting up a print run. That keeps the choice grounded in the actual job, rather than relying on the product name to answer questions about your intended output. For a fine art canvas roll, those are the practical details to weigh up first.
