Permajet Watercolour Rag 310GSM 44INCHES 15m

Permajet Watercolour Rag 310GSM 44INCHES 15m | A long-format paper roll

Instead of planning a print around individual sheets, this Permajet paper comes as a roll, giving you a continuous length to work with. It’s watercolour rag photo paper, named at 310gsm, with a width of 44 inches and a length of 15 metres. That makes the roll’s size central to the decision: think about the print dimensions you need and how much paper your planned run will use. The product suits photographers and printmakers choosing paper for finished images, especially when a roll format fits their workflow better than buying sheets. The title identifies the paper as watercolour rag, but doesn’t describe its surface, so I wouldn’t assume a particular texture from the name alone. If you’re comparing papers, treat the weight and roll dimensions as the clear starting points, then choose according to the look you want from the finished print.

A roll is useful to consider when you’re planning more than one print or working to dimensions that don’t follow a standard sheet size. Before printing, map out the intended image sizes and allow for the paper each job will take; that helps you judge how the available length fits your plans. The 44-inch width gives you a fixed maximum across the roll, while the 15-metre length is the available run along it. Those measurements describe the format, not the appearance of the final image. The 310gsm figure describes the paper’s weight per square metre, a practical comparison point when looking at paper options. If you need a particular surface feel or print result, that’s something to assess separately rather than infer from the product name.
