PGYTECH 62mm Filter Adapter Ring (iPhone 17 Pro)
PGYTECH 62mm Filter Adapter Ring (iPhone 17 Pro) | Add a filter to your iPhone setup
Unlike a filter itself, this PGYTECH ring is the connecting piece: it’s made to let you use a compatible filter with an iPhone 17 Pro. That makes it relevant to phone photographers who want to shape light with a filter rather than rely only on the phone’s built-in image processing. It’s especially useful when you already have a filter you’d like to use for a particular look, such as reducing light in a bright scene or managing reflections. The ring provides the adapter; the filter supplies the effect, so the result depends on the filter you pair with it. This is a focused accessory rather than an all-in-one phone photography kit. If you’re building a small, filter-based setup around your iPhone, it gives you a straightforward way to bring a compatible filter into that workflow.
Specialist Note
62mm is the filter size this ring is designed around, so in practice you’ll want a filter with a matching thread to make the pairing. It’s intended for the iPhone 17 Pro, which keeps the accessory’s purpose clear: adapting that phone to a compatible filter, rather than acting as a filter on its own. For a bright outdoor scene, pair it with a suitable neutral-density filter when you want to reduce the light reaching the camera; for reflections, choose a filter made to control glare. The effect comes from the filter, not the ring. I’d see this as a good fit for an iPhone photographer who already knows which filter they want to use; it’s a specific adapter, not a general-purpose phone rig.
