PolarPro 135 Series - Chroma CP Filter - 67mm

PolarPro 135 Series - Chroma CP Filter - 67mm | Cut reflections, deepen contrast

Modern Chroma glass paired with a retro film-canister look gives the PolarPro 135 Series Chroma CP Filter a character all its own. This 67mm circular polarising filter is for film and digital photographers who want to reduce glare and bring more contrast and colour depth to a scene. On a landscape, its polarising effect can make skies and foliage appear richer; around architecture, it can reduce reflections that hide detail on glass or building surfaces. It’s also useful around cars and water, where reflected light can obscure what’s underneath or on the surface. The glass is specified for resolutions up to 8K, so the filter is suited to detailed high-resolution images as well as film work. Its neutral colour treatment keeps the effect focused on reflections and contrast rather than adding a deliberate warm or cool cast. This is a purposeful filter for scenes where reflected light is part of the problem.

On the lens

• Circular polarising effect: Reducing glare from reflective surfaces brings more of their detail back into view. It can also add contrast to high-contrast black-and-white scenes.
• Chroma glass: The optical glass is specified for resolutions up to 8K. That makes it suitable for detailed digital images without ruling out film photography.
• Neutral colour: The filter’s neutral tint avoids introducing a deliberately warm or cool look. Colours retain a natural appearance as the filter changes reflections and contrast.
• Protective coating: The surface is described as resistant to fingerprints and scratches. That’s useful for a filter handled regularly in the field.
• Sunny 16 reference: A quick Sunny 16 guide is printed inside the filter cap. It gives film shooters a compact exposure reminder to consult while out with a camera.
• Retro presentation: The 135 Series pairs modern filter glass with film-inspired styling. Its supplied case follows that nostalgic theme.
