Portkeys 8K HDMI A - Micro Set (30cm 100cm)

Portkeys 8K HDMI A - Micro Set (30cm 100cm) | Two lengths for a closer fit

An HDMI cable that’s longer than you need can leave extra slack around a compact setup; one that’s too short can limit where you place things. This Portkeys set gives you two cable lengths, 30cm and 100cm, with HDMI A and Micro HDMI connections. That makes it a practical option when you want to choose a shorter or longer run rather than make do with one length. It’s aimed at anyone whose equipment uses those connector types and who wants a little flexibility in cable reach. Portkeys identifies the set as 8K HDMI. The useful detail here is the choice of lengths: 30cm keeps the cable run short, while 100cm gives you more reach. There’s no mystery to the offer; the value is having both lengths available.

Choosing a length

Think about the distance between the two connection points and how much slack you want left over. The 30cm cable suits a close placement; the 100cm cable gives you more room to position connected equipment farther apart. That’s the straightforward reason to have both lengths in a set. A quick measurement of your intended route can help you decide which one to use, especially if the cable needs to follow a particular path rather than run directly between the connections. Both cables are identified in the product name as HDMI A to Micro. This description sticks to that information: it doesn’t assume a particular camera or promise a specific result with your setup.
