Radius Windcover For Rycote BBG Single Black Fur
Radius Windcover For Rycote BBG Single Black Fur | Protects your gear in a larger bag
In a larger kit bag, smaller pieces of sound gear can rub against other items and get scratched or knocked. This Radius product is a protective case or pouch for the Rycote BBG Single windcover, giving it a dedicated layer of protection while it’s packed away. It’s suited to sound recordists and other crew members who carry this windcover alongside their other equipment and want to keep it protected between uses. Its strength is practical rather than complicated: use it to help shield the gear from everyday bumps and scuffs inside a larger bag. It’s a focused accessory for protecting the named windcover, not a general storage solution for a whole kit. If you regularly pack a Rycote BBG Single with other equipment, this pouch helps keep that item separate from the knocks and rubbing of travel.
Specialist Note
Scratches and bumps from a crowded kit bag are exactly the kind of wear this pouch helps prevent. Its stated purpose is protecting gear, so I’d use it to keep the Rycote BBG Single windcover apart from other equipment when packing a larger bag. The name points to the black-fur version of that windcover, which makes this a specific match rather than a catch-all pouch. It suits sound recordists carrying one Rycote BBG Single between recording setups or keeping it protected in storage. Put the windcover in its pouch before packing; just treat it as protection against scuffs and knocks, not as a substitute for a hard case.
