Radius Windcover For Rycote Cyclone Small Black Fur
Radius Windcover For Rycote Cyclone Small Black Fur | Pouch protection for your windcover
Its role is specific: this is a protective pouch for the Radius Windcover named for the Rycote Cyclone Small, intended to help protect your gear from scratches and bumps inside a larger bag. It suits sound recordists who carry this windcover alongside other equipment and want it stored with less chance of rubbing against nearby kit. The black-fur version is identified in the product name; the practical reason to pack it is straightforward: keep the windcover contained rather than loose among other items. It’s best used as a simple bag-in-bag layer during transport or storage, where protection from scuffs and knocks is the main concern. Put the named windcover in the pouch before placing it in your larger gear bag. That’s the job this case is made for.
Specialist Note
One protective pouch gives the Rycote Cyclone Small windcover its own place in a larger bag; in practice, that means it isn’t left loose beside equipment that could scuff or knock it. I’d use it to keep this specific black-fur windcover contained during transport, or while storing it with the rest of your sound kit. It suits anyone carrying the named Cyclone Small windcover who wants straightforward scratch-and-bump protection. One honest point: its stated role is protection inside a larger bag, so I’d think of it as a protective pouch, not as a solution for every kind of impact.
