Radius Windcover For Rycote WS295 Windshield Black Fur
Radius Windcover For Rycote WS295 Windshield Black Fur | Added Protection in a Larger Bag
Keep a Rycote WS295 windshield from getting scuffed or knocked as it travels among other kit in a larger bag. The Radius Windcover For Rycote WS295 Windshield Black Fur is a protective pouch or case for that job. It gives owners of the named windshield a way to keep it apart from loose items while packing and unpacking, rather than letting it rub directly against the rest of the bag’s contents. The product name identifies the Black Fur version; its practical role here is protecting gear in storage and transit. I’d consider it for sound recordists or camera crews who carry their equipment together and want a dedicated layer around this windshield. It’s most relevant when the windshield is packed alongside other gear: the supplier describes its benefit as helping protect against scratches and bumps in a larger bag. This is a focused accessory for protecting the windshield, not a general-purpose organiser.
Specialist Note
Packing a windshield loose can leave it exposed to scuffs and little knocks from the rest of the kit; this pouch gives the Rycote WS295 a dedicated place inside a larger bag. The WS295 reference ties it to the specific windshield named in the product title, rather than suggesting a general storage pouch. “Black Fur” identifies this version, which is useful when sorting your sound gear. I’d use it when carrying the windshield alongside other equipment, then return it to the pouch before putting the bag away. Its purpose is specific: a protective layer for this windshield, not a replacement for the larger bag that carries the rest of your kit.
