The Caruba Reverse Ring for 4/3-55mm, crafted uniquely for Olympus lenses, is essentially an adapter ring that provides an innovative solution for reversing your lens. It equips a thread on one side, specifically designed to match the filter thread of your existing lens.
The distinctive component of this setup is the adapter's opposite side, which comes integration-ready for your lens mount. The installation requires you to attach the adapter to the lens' filter thread, reverse the lens, and finally secure the lens' bayonet right into the camera body.
- One important indication for usage: The camera loses its ability to send commands to the lens.
- Consequently, certain lens-driven functions like the autofocus and the control of an electronic aperture will not be operational.
