Rodenstock PLC Digital Pro 67mm
Rodenstock PLC Digital Pro 67mm | Control reflections at capture
Without a polarizing filter, reflections and glare are recorded along with the scene, and reducing them later can be difficult. The Rodenstock PLC Digital Pro 67mm is a polarizing filter for photographers who want more control over reflected light as they take the picture. It can help reduce reflections on surfaces such as water or glass, and can make a blue sky appear deeper when the light and shooting angle are right. That makes it useful for landscape work, travel photography and scenes where glare distracts from the subject. The 67mm size is intended for lenses that take 67mm filters, so match that measurement to your lens. A polarizer needs considered positioning: its effect changes with your angle to the light, and it won't remove every reflection. Used with that in mind, it gives you a way to shape the look in-camera rather than relying on editing alone.
Specialist Note
A polarizer won’t remove every reflection, so I wouldn’t buy this expecting glass or water to become completely glare-free from any viewpoint. Its value is the control it gives you when the angle is favourable. The 67mm size is the key practical detail: it suits a lens with a matching 67mm filter thread, so check the marking on the lens. As a polarizing filter, it’s a considered pick for someone photographing water, shop windows or a bright landscape; adjust its position while watching the scene to judge the effect. I’d especially consider it when reflections are part of the shot you want to manage, not simply edit away later.
