Recording Formats and ACES Workflow

The Ronin CineCore 3.0 imaging technology enables internal recording in Apple ProRes 4444 XQ, ProRes 422 HQ, and H.264 video formats. The full-frame camera can provide up to 6K (60fps) and 4K (120fps) images in ProRes 4444 XQ. The ACES workflow support, along with the CineCore 3.0 technology, make the Ronin 4D perfect as a secondary cam for larger video productions. The recorded images can be stored internally via the CFexpress Type B connection or externally via a USB 3.1 Type-C connection.

LiDAR and Manual Focus

The LiDAR Focusing System maintains autofocus even during motion blur when the subject is moving rapidly. ActiveTrack Pro ensures the camera automatically maintains focus during tracking shots. With just a press of a button, you can place the camera in Sport mode, causing the gimbal to respond quickly to your movements. Autofocus is even available on manual lenses with the focus motor. The camera and the focus system can also be controlled wirelessly.

Image Transmission & Combination Kit

The DJI O3 Pro Video Transmission technology enables long-distance image transmission, which is beneficial for larger productions. The camera battery provides up to 2.5 hours of recording time and can fully recharge in an hour and a half. In cold weather conditions, an auto-heating function is available. The 4D also has internal microphones for dual-channel 24-bit audio recordings. More comprehensive recording opportunities are affordable using the 3.5mm and XLR ports. The combination kit includes several extensive accessories that allow you to tailor the 4D to your needs.
