This windjammer is essentially a sound recordist's dream for outdoor filming where capturing crystal-clear sound without the intrusion of background noises like that of vehicles or wind is required.

  • It is particularly compatible with the standard microphone of the Sony DCR-VX1000 but can also accommodate other microphones that fulfill its size criteria.
  • The maximum diameter and length for compatibility are 50mm and 70mm respectively.
