Seagate 20TB USB-C External HDD

Seagate 20TB USB-C External HDD | Keep a large file archive in one place

Without an external drive, a growing collection of photos and video can end up scattered across computers and other storage. The Seagate 20TB USB-C External HDD gives you one place to keep a substantial library together. It suits photographers, video editors and anyone whose files are taking up more room than their everyday working storage can comfortably hold. Its 20TB capacity makes it best suited to a large archive or a broad collection of projects, rather than carrying just a handful of files. The USB-C connection is part of the product name; you’ll want to plan how this drive fits into your own setup. A drive of this size can make it easier to gather files, but it’s still sensible to keep another copy of anything you can’t afford to lose. That’s a practical point, not a knock on the drive.

A home for a growing library

Large collections are easier to work with when there’s a clear place for completed projects, older shoots and files you don’t need every day. You could organise folders by year, client or project, then use that structure consistently as your archive grows. The drive gives you a single destination for that material, so you’re not relying on a loose assortment of folders across different devices. It can also help separate files you’re actively working on from those you’re keeping for reference. That separation is a matter of how you choose to organise your files; the drive itself is the storage destination. If your collection is already modest, 20TB may be more space than you need today. It makes more sense when you expect a large library to accumulate over time.
