Shape FS5BR Sony FS5 Basepl Bund Rig w/ Metabones Support

Shape FS5BR Sony FS5 Basepl Bund Rig w/ Metabones Support | Extra support for handheld FS5 video

The combination of a Sony FS5 baseplate rig and named Metabones support gives the Shape FS5BR a specific role in a handheld video setup. It’s a shoulder rig for people working with the Sony FS5 who want extra support while filming handheld, rather than a general-purpose camera accessory. That makes it relevant for interview coverage, event video and other work where you need to operate the camera away from a fixed position. The product name also calls out Metabones support, an important detail for shoppers whose FS5 setup includes that part of their rig. Think of it as a focused piece of support for handheld work: its value is in matching the camera and support needs named here, not in a long list of extra features. The finish is black, keeping the look understated alongside a video setup.

Where it fits

This rig makes the most sense when your work centres on handheld video with the Sony FS5 and you specifically need the Metabones support noted in its name. It gives you a clear direction for choosing: consider it for a shoulder-rig setup, not simply because you need any kind of camera support. For a seated interview, for example, it’s intended to provide extra support while you operate handheld. For event coverage, it suits situations where you need to film away from a fixed position. Its purpose is focused; don’t expect the product name alone to tell you about additional rig parts or functions.
