Shimoda Explore V2 35 Backpack - Black - 520-158
Shimoda Explore V2 35 Backpack - Black - 520-158 | Carry your camera and several lenses on the move
The Shimoda Explore V2 35 Backpack - Black - 520-158 is a camera backpack for carrying a camera and several lenses on the go. It suits photographers who want to bring a varied kit on hikes, city trips and travel days, rather than head out with just a camera. The appeal is its clear purpose: keeping a camera-carrying day practical when you’ll be walking between locations and want more than one lens with you. That makes it a good match for changing subjects on a hike or moving from street scenes to indoor details during a city visit. It’s also worth considering for travel days when you want your camera gear together as you move around. Think about the kit you actually use; this bag’s intended role is for a camera plus several lenses, not simply a camera on its own.
Choose it for a varied day out
Before you set off, decide which lenses you’re likely to use for the day and pack around those subjects. For a hike, that might mean choosing the lenses you want available as the scenery changes. In a city, think about the different kinds of pictures you plan to make as you move between places. The Explore V2 35 is aimed at photographers who value having several lenses with them on these outings. If your usual day calls for only a camera, it may be more kit-carrying capacity than you need; its intended use makes most sense when you’ll draw on that broader selection.
Specialist Note
Morning light reaches the trail, and the view shifts from wide scenery to small details along the path. That’s the sort of outing where I’d point you towards the Shimoda Explore V2 35: it’s a camera backpack designed to carry a camera with several lenses, so you can bring options for changing subjects. It also makes sense for a city day when you’re moving between streets and indoor stops and want more than one lens available. I’d choose it if that flexibility matters to your photography. If you normally take only a camera and one lens, its multi-lens purpose may be more than your day requires.
