Sigma Filter 62mm WR Protector + UV PUV-21
Sigma Filter 62mm WR Protector + UV PUV-21 | Protection for a 62mm lens
A lens gets handled, wiped and packed away often, and its front element is exposed through all of that. This Sigma filter set brings together a WR Protector and a UV filter for lenses with a 62mm filter size. It suits photographers who want a filter in front of the lens, and who also want a UV option available for their setup. The names tell you what each filter is intended for: one is the protector, the other is the UV filter. That makes the set particularly relevant if you’re choosing between a protective filter and a UV filter rather than shopping for a different kind of photographic effect. Check the filter size printed on your lens or its existing filter: the 62mm size is the key detail when deciding if this set fits. There’s no need to guess from the camera body name; match the filter diameter.
Specialist Note
An exposed front element can make everyday handling feel more cautious than it needs to be; this set gives you a protector option for that job. I’d point it out to someone with a lens marked 62mm who wants a named WR Protector as well as a UV filter in the same product. For routine use, fit the protector when you want a filter in front of the lens; choose the UV filter when that’s the filter you want to use. The 62mm size makes the fit decision straightforward, but it’s specific: it’s for a lens with that filter diameter. That clear distinction between the two filter names is the helpful part here.
